While most of us have pretty good family dynamics, some people have toxic sibling relationships. Toxic sibling relationships are unbalanced in their power dynamic and may involve sibling abuse and dysfunctional sibling rivalry 3. Here are some signs of toxic sibling relationships :
They are the favorite child.
They are controlling.
You don’t feel you can say ‘no’ to them.
They manipulate you.
They are always right.
They criticize you constantly.
If you’re experiencing a toxic sibling relationship, it’s important to set boundaries and seek help from a trusted friend or family member. Remember, you deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.
One of my sisters that is about seven years older than I am, we will just say the middle sister.
She found joy in torturing my soul along with sleeping with my friends and trying to ruin any relationship I had. She literally would call the police on me and tip off that I was their person of interest in crimes I never committed.
