When cruising around the White Castles and Bremen Theater was the
thing to do? Many a endless nights making the circle around the famed
name BREMEN 500.
That name became a regular weekend event for so many Southsiders
looking for fun, excitement, a gal or guy, some even came looking for trouble.
Many times at the stoplight the tires would burn as the motors were redlined
to impress or prove a point. That point became a game of El Mano ...
The kids from so many communities converging on one area to inevitably clash against one another in tiffs, words brawls and more...
How many nights? How many fights? What did you come to do at the Bremen 500..
Some played the arcade as others watched new movies just released at the box office.
Rowdy ones who were riddled with high testosterone and low self-esteem looked to pick on others.
I will mention a night and a fight were a guy 5 years older who at the time was a prison guard and we were high school kids, came at me. How does your face look ? Remember
you had easy 80-100 lbs on me? You had a brother and both were WACK .... (Hint)
MEMORY LANE Of when you decided to slam me on my hood at the Burger King parking lot and POOF, I X&% off your cheek..... YEAH YOU REMEMBER ME.
Just remember the guy may be smaller and you even get the element of surprise on him, REMEMBER THAT NIGHT, you lost a fight to a STREET KID FROM CHICAGO !
I remember Bremen . I usually was at the discount theater lol but did cruise around the place a few times with my friends . Those were the day's... I didn't live in Tinley Park at that time . Good job teaching that punk a lesson Eric 👏 👍
